Dear Santa Clara Soccer Academy players & parents, Much to our disappointment, we have been informed we can not hold any camps this summer at Santa Clara University. The recommendation is to look to reschedule closer to the end of the year, so that will be our plan. We are very sorry for all the inconvenience and many thanks for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We, as Santa Clara Men's Soccer Staff, wish you the best for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing you on the field soon. Date: TBA Check In: TBA Check Out: TBA Ages: High School Freshman - Seniors Santa Clara University (map) Our College ID Residential Camp gives young players a chance to immerse themselves in a soccer atmosphere where they will not only work on the fundamental development of technical and tactical skills, they will have the opportunity to work with high-level college coaches. Campers will compete against other players their age in 6v6 and 11v11 formats. In addition to on the field development, this camp will feature college coaches panels, question and answer sessions with the coaches and information about how the college process works. Residential campers will enjoy the college experience while living in student housing and dining on the Santa Clara Campus. * A Goalkeeping option is available at time of registration. The focus of Santa Clara Goalkeeping Academy, is to improve the technical and tactical aspects of the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper will be taught and trained using similar methods to how the Santa Clara University goalkeepers are trained. During the camp, players will train and compete against other players their age in 6v6 and 11v11 games. In addition to on the field development, this camp will feature group educational sessions designed to engage a young soccer player. |

Our Day Camps are designed to develop skills through a rotation system which emphasizes advance skills and tactical play to challenge the player in their respective level of development. In addition, psycho-motor skill training is used to develop and sharpen movement, coordination, strength and speed. Stations include, passing, dribbling, finishing, juggling, small games, and large games. The emphasis of the camp is on learning, development and fun.
