Half-Day Camp #1: 6/24-28 (CANCELLED)
Half-Day Camp #2: 7/22-26 (CANCELLED) Time: 9-12pm Ages: 6-13 years old Santa Clara University (map) Our Day Camps are designed to develop skills through a rotation system which emphasizes advance skills and tactical play to challenge the player in their respective level of development. In addition, psycho-motor skill training is used to develop and sharpen movement, coordination, strength and speed. Stations include, passing, dribbling, finishing, juggling, small games, and large games. The emphasis of the camp is on learning, development and fun. Our Advanced Residential Camp gives young players a chance to immerse themselves in a soccer atmosphere where they will not only work on the fundamental development of technical and tactical skills. Campers will compete against other players their age in 6v6 and 11v11 formats. In addition to on the field development, this camp will feature video sessions, tactical understanding of the game and various off-field activities to further your development. Residential campers will enjoy the college experience while living in student housing and dining on the Santa Clara Campus.
* A Goalkeeping option is available at time of registration.
The focus of Santa Clara Goalkeeping Academy, is to improve the technical and tactical aspects of the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper will be taught and trained using similar methods to how the Santa Clara University goalkeepers are trained. During the camp, players will train and compete against other players their age in 6v6 and 11v11 games. In addition to on the field development, this camp will feature group educational sessions designed to engage a young soccer player.
