Cameron Rast has been the head coach at Santa Clara University for the past 18 seasons and most recently was named West Coast Conference coach of the year in 2015. Rast has amassed a 153-90-45 career record while with the Broncos and leading them to two NCAA College Cups. Prior to his tenure has head coach Rast was an All-American defender and most notably led his 1989 Bronco team to a NCAA co-championship. Cameron was also a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic team where he captained the side in Barcelona.
ERIC YAMAMOTO DIRECTOR
The 2019 season marked Eric Yamamoto's 28th year coaching at Santa Clara University. He earned All-America status as a goalkeeper, as Santa Clara charged to the nation's top ranking and the NCAA co-championship during his senior season in 1989. As a member of the U.S. National Team coaching staff, Yamamoto has most recently served as the assistant coach for the U.S. U-18 men's team and the goalkeeper coach for the U-23 men's team.
Mykell Bates Co-Director
Mykell Bates is entering his 2nd season as assistant coach with Santa Clara University. Prior to getting the assistant role in January, Mykell was the volunteer coach during the 2018 season. Prior to Santa Clara, Mykell was the head coach for the U17 Silicon Valley Soccer Academy. Before Mykell decided to go the coaching route, he was drafted to Toronto FC in the 2012 MLS draft and played 4 years at Santa Clara during 2008-12.
